Cancer Care Associates are pleased to announce the establishment of a truly comprehensive cancer care facility in Noosaville Queensland. Construction will commence shortly, with patient treatment expected to start in November 2023.
This new multi-storey $40 million development will encompass a comprehensive modern state-of-the art facility that includes Specialist Consulting suites, Radiation Oncology, Haematology, Medical Oncology, Pharmacy, Radiology, Pathology as well as access to cancer research and clinical trials.
Chair and CEO of Cancer Care Associates, Dr Tony Noun said: “The Noosa region is experiencing population growth and an aging demographic. This new comprehensive cancer care centre aims to provide a much-needed service to the community of Noosa by eliminating the need to travel to Maroochydore or elsewhere for their cancer treatment. Importantly, we believe in delivering
world-class evidence-based medicine in a caring, compassionate and comfortable environment. Our radiotherapy treatment service will provide access to bulk-billing ensuring patients can utilise this service, without incurring out-of-pocket costs for their potentially life-saving treatment”.
