Dr Bio
Dr Mahmood Alam is an experienced clinician, medical oncologist, with more than 15 years, spanning across academia and R&D within the industry. Dr Alam practices General Oncology and maintains clinical interest in lung, breast, and colorectal cancers.
Focused on improving outcomes for cancer patients, Dr Alam has contributed to clinical development of innovative therapeutic breakthroughs and has led and participated in Ph1-IV clinical studies. Real world data collection and patient reported outcomes remain an area of his ongoing clinical research.
Dr Alam received his Oncology training in Liverpool Hospital and served as a Staff Specialist in Medical Oncology. He completed a one-year Fellowship with CTC, NHMRC, supporting ALTG.
Dr Mahmood Alam is providing medical oncology consultant services at Cancer Care Macarthur and also has a VMO practicing rights at Southside Cancer Care Centre, Miranda.
