Bio

In addition to his clinical roles in public and private practice in medical oncology, A/Prof Jonathon Hill is the Clinical Lead for the Discipline of Medicine at the University of Wollongong Graduate School of Medicine and the local Director of training for the Illawarra Medical Network of physician training.

A local of the Illawarra and trained locally at the University of Wollongong and the Illawarra Shoalhaven Health District, with subspecialty training completed in St George and Westmead hospitals, Jonathon brings a keen and up to date approach to the day-to-day care of his patients. He is invested in the development and delivery of high-quality health services in regional and rural centres, advocating for high quality patient-centred and locally delivered care.

Jonathon has extensive clinical research and clinical trials experience, being an investigator on more than 50 clinical trials. Jonathon is the current chair of the thoracic oncology multi-disciplinary team meeting.
