Medical Administrator – Full time/ Part time

About The Medical Administrator Role
We are looking to welcome an enthusiastic and motivated person to join our friendly admin team as our centre grows. This permanent role presents an opportunity to assist with a rapidly growing and developing service, working in a collaborative team environment. This position will have the responsibility of performing all administrative functions including:
- Patient liaison, such as welcoming patients, answering calls, reviewing and sending correspondence and making appointments;
- Patient administration including billing, accurate data entry to our e-management system (Mosaiq), liaising with hospitals and other specialist clinics;
- Completing tasks assigned by the doctors and coordinating with the nurse and other allied health staff members in the team.
The position works Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm – 37.5 hours per week. Part time options will be considered.
If you are the right person to join our team, you will be able to ensure all patients and visitors are attended to in a polite, professional, and respectful manner. Being mindful of the environment we work in, you will address situations with sensitivity and empathy. You will have a flexible and adaptable nature, outstanding attention to detail and excellent organisational and communication skills. Knowledge of medical terminology is desirable but not essential and a reasonable level of computer literacy and basic knowledge of MS Office suite is required. The ability to perform with a team focus is crucial.
